This safety switchboard mat protects workers from electrocution by distributing the path to ground. It’s a long-lasting, marbelized, lonseal flooring solution that meets the U.S. military and NATO switchboard matting MIL-DTL-15562G, TYPE 1 specifications and regulations. It features an advanced, UV-cured urethane finish that eases maintenance.

This UV military flooring is specially designed to prevent electric shock around any high voltage electrical equipment. This may include fuse boxes and control panels – to name a few. Electricity can sometimes be a major hazard if grounding flooring isn’t in place to prevent electrocution, fires, and more. The LonMat military flooring rolls are frequently employed on ship decking and by electrified equipment when maintenance and operational personnel are working, and they are known for their water-tight integrity with heat-welded seams.

LonMat® Military Flooring Specs

These LonMat UV military flooring rolls are 6 feet wide by 30 feet in length. They are 0.128 inches thick, and they have a wear layer thickness of 0.048 inches. They have a weight of 1.1 pound per square foot, for a total weight of 200 pounds per roll.

The military flooring rolls have a marbled pattern and have a smooth finish. They are available in beige marble, blue marble, green marble, and gray marble.

LonMat® Military Flooring Roll – Cleaning & Maintenance

To get the best performance and appearance from your military flooring roll, simply follow this cleaning and maintenance process.

Initial Maintenance:

1. Make certain the proper installation method has been followed
2. After installation has been completed, wait 48 hours before beginning initial maintenance.
3. Using a microfiber dust mop, clean the flooring. Vacuum the floor to first pick up any large particles.
4. Using a properly diluted neutral pH cleaner, scrub the floor with a TASKI Contact Pad on a slow speed (175 – 300 RPM) rotary floor machine or auto-scrubber, vacuuming up any remaining cleaning solution.
5. Then, use clean water and a clean microfiber mop pad to remove any remaining residue.

Daily/Routine Maintenance:

1. Remove all dirt, soil, and residue. Take care if using a scraper or putty knife to avoid permanently damaging the surface of the flooring.
2. Using a microfiber dust mop, clean the flooring. If needed, first vacuum it to pick up any large particles.
3. Use a properly diluted neutral cleaner to the surface using a microfiber wet mop pad.
4. You can always use clean water and a clean microfiber mop pad to remove any remaining residue.

Periodic Maintenance:

1. Remove all soiling, dirt, food, debris, and residue. If using a scraper or putty knife, be sure to avoid permanently damaging the surface of the flooring.
2. Use a microfiber dust mop to clean the flooring. Vacuum the floor to first pick up any large particles, if necessary.
3. Use a neutral pH cleaner that has been properly diluted. Scrub the floor with a red buffing pad on a slow speed (175 – 300 RPM) rotary floor machine or auto-scrubber, vacuuming up any remaining cleaning solution. If intending to revitalize the gloss of the floor, substitute a spray buff for the neutral pH cleaner.
4. You can always use clean water and a clean microfiber mop pad to remove any remaining residue.
